• Laser Operator

  Location: Medina, OH Base Pay: $16.50-21.97+/hr

  ResourceMFG is currently looking for a Laser Cutter Operator for Carlisle Brake & Friction in Medina.  The laser machine operator safely operates Trumpf laser cutting equipment for a variety of manufacturing products.

  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Perform laser cutting operations
  • Select proper cutting programs, fixtures and raw materials
  • Operate loading and unloading devices for heavy sheet steel
  • Adjust laser beam focal point
  • Make proper setups for cutting operations
  • Preform light duty maintenance of equipment
  • Perform all dimensional inspections for part quality and accuracy
  • Detect and report defective material
  • Perform visual inspection and use basic troubleshooting logic to maintain all quality standards.
  • Follow standard processes to document operation/part history as required
  • Perform training functions as required

  • Processing internal cut orders
  • Recording machine settings and job notes
  • Constant communication and coordination with others in the department
  • Monitoring stock levels for materials and consumables
  • Maintaining equipment, assisting with repairs as needed
  • Organizing and cleaning the laser cutting area
  • Assisting other departments as needed

  Preferred Education and Experience:

  • 1 year manufacturing experience
  • 1 year of laser operator experience
  • Training in general safety and manufacturing operations

• Production Associate, 12-hour shift

  Location: Medina, OH Base Pay: $17.43-19.68/hr starting

  ResourceMFG is currently looking for Machine Operators in the Medina area.  These are full-time, contract-to-hire positions. 

  Available Shifts

  • 6a-6p $17.43/hr starting, 6am - 6pm, 12 hours (days will vary - see more info below)
  • 6p-6a: $19.68/hr starting, 6pm - 6am, 12 hours (days will vary - see more info below)

  This is known as a 2-2-3 or "Pitman" fixed shift schedule; it uses 4 teams (crews) and 2 twelve-hour shifts to provide 24/7 coverage. It consists of a 2-week cycle where each team works 2 consecutive shifts, followed by 2 days off duty, works 3 consecutive shifts, followed by 2 days off duty, works 2 consecutive shifts, followed by 3 days off duty, etc.
