Production Shift Supervisor – 3rd Shift

Location: Port Huron, MI Hours: 6:30 p.m. – 5:00 a.m. (Monday night – Friday morning)

Pay Range: $28 – $34 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Production Shift Supervisor to oversee and support 3rd shift operations. This role is responsible for supervising employees, maintaining production schedules, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have hands-on injection molding experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to train and support a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and support production team members on shift
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure production runs to schedule and meets quality standards
  • Perform mold changes and support machine/robot programming as needed
  • Monitor and enforce company policies, safety practices, and housekeeping standards
  • Compile reports on production and personnel activity
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations across shifts
  • Provide coverage for other shift supervisors when required

Job Requirements:

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2–5 years of supervisory or leadership experience
  • Hands-on injection molding experience, including molding machine and robot programming
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems (such as IQMS) preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Flexibility to cover additional shifts as needed

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, and move about as needed throughout the shift
  • Frequent movement on the manufacturing floor; ability to lift up to 25 lbs. using proper techniques
  • Typical manufacturing environment with occasional exposure to noise, dust, odors, and fumes
