This is a Temp to Hire opportunity 

6am-4:30pm

Wage based on experience: $22-26

Job Summary:

The CNC Machinist position is responsible for operating various CNC machines to fabricate and manufacture parts.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Operates Fadal and Haas CNC Machines.
• Ability to operate and set up Bridgeport Machines.  
• Calculates dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments.
• Ability to read calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, protractor, and other various pieces of inspection equipment.
• Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines.
• Reads and interprets blueprints and design sketches in both Metric and US measuring systems to ensure proper dimensions and specifications for parts.
• Operates various types of machine tools to perform progressive machining.
• Converts metric and standard dimensions.
• Measures, examines and tests completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications; adjusts machine controls to resolve production errors.
• Detects malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusts machine controls, as necessary.
• Checks parts to ensure they are meeting the company’s standards before moving to the next department.
• Understands tolerancing and how to hold different tolerances.
• Inspects machinery for any needed repairs; perform minor repairs within expertise.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety of work area.
• Follows company, state, and federal safety regulations. This includes wearing proper protective equipment and keeping work area clean and well-organized.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred minimum of 2-year related experience.  

Vocational or technical school training and apprenticeship preferred.

Lathe experience preferred.

ResourceMFG has an opening for a client located in Almont MI looking for an experienced CNC Laser Cutter

Mon-Fri 6am-4:30pm Sat 6am-11am

$18-25 Based on experience 

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Sets up, maintains, and operates the laser.
• Performs daily machine startup and shutdown procedures as necessary on laser equipment.
• Stages raw materials at workstation for the day’s productions and plans sequence of operations by reviewing blueprints to ensure precision.
• Loads and unload machines.
• Ensures production schedule follow-through as determined by the CAD Department.
• Assists in loading and unloading team members’ machines when production requires additional manpower to maintain production standards.
• Performs minor maintenance and cleaning of cutting equipment and work area in accordance with the company standards and manufacturers machine recommendations.
• Checks parts to ensure they are meeting the company’s standards before moving to the next department.
• Follows company, state, and federal safety regulations. This includes wearing proper protective equipment and keeping work area clean and well-organized.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Production Shift Supervisor – 3rd Shift

Location: Port Huron, MI Hours: 6:30 p.m. – 5:00 a.m. (Monday night – Friday morning)

Pay Range: $28 – $34 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Production Shift Supervisor to oversee and support 3rd shift operations. This role is responsible for supervising employees, maintaining production schedules, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have hands-on injection molding experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to train and support a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

 Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and support production team members on shift
• Oversee daily operations and ensure production runs to schedule and meets quality standards
• Perform mold changes and support machine/robot programming as needed
• Monitor and enforce company policies, safety practices, and housekeeping standards
• Compile reports on production and personnel activity
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations across shifts
• Provide coverage for other shift supervisors when required

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2–5 years of supervisory or leadership experience
• Hands-on injection molding experience, including molding machine and robot programming
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems (such as IQMS) preferred
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Flexibility to cover additional shifts as needed

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, and move about as needed throughout the shift
• Frequent movement on the manufacturing floor; ability to lift up to 25 lbs. using proper techniques
• Typical manufacturing environment with occasional exposure to noise, dust, odors, and fumes

Job Summary

The Welder position is responsible for welding using Mig and Tig on all metals including carbon steel, aluminum and stainless steel.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Safely set up and operate welding machines and other shop equipment
• Expertly weld small, medium and large various metals
• Must be able to read and comprehend blueprints
• Lay out, position, and secures parts and assemblies according to specifications using straightedge, combination square, calipers, and ruler
• Bolts, Clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding
• Inspects grooves, angles, or gap allowances, using micrometer, caliper, and precision measuring instruments
• Remove rough spots from from workpiece, using portable grinder, hand file or scraper
• Weld components in flat or vertical positions
• Check parts to ensure they are meeting the company's standards before moving to the next department
• Performs other related duties as assigned

ResourceMFG is searching for an experienced Brake Press Operator for a client located in Almont MI.

6am-4:30pm Mon - Friday

$18-25 Based on experience 

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Operates the press brake to shape multiple types of metal, primarily sheet metal.
• Loads pieces of metal into the machine for shaping or straightening, aligning, and positioning the material to achieve specific shapes.
• Measures, aligns, and positions materials per blueprints.
• Sets up and maintains the press brake machine to keep it in good working order. This includes changing the machine’s oil and filters and greasing various parts of the press brake.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints.
• Monitors sheet metal as it is being shaped, inspecting pieces of fresh sheet metal for imperfections and overall quality.
• Follows company, state, and federal safety regulations. This includes wearing proper protective equipment and keeping work area clean and well-organized.
• Contributes to team efforts by performing duties within the Press Brake Department and other Departments, as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
