Working under direct supervision in this fast-paced environment, the QA/QC Inspectors will perform activities in the inspection of raw materials, in process materials, and finished goods to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications, including problem-solving quality issues.

Attention to detail is a must!

The QA/QC Inspector will:

• Perform various quality control tests and inspections on raw materials and coated material used throughout the production process to ensure compliance to product standards and specifications.

• Perform accuracy verifications on various testing equipment and tools used to measure quality to ensure accuracy and compliance to equipment standards.

• May perform sampling and quality inspections on pre-mass and test trial material as needed and pre-determined by R&D.

• May perform sampling and quality inspections on finished goods to ensure quality conditions meet customer and product standards and requirements.

• Answer questions, resolve problems and report abnormalities to supervisor, such as quality defects, equipment malfunctions, and accidents.

• Record findings and summarize test results and perform additional quality testing on materials/products deviating from standards. Qualified candidates will possess:

  •  Must be available for overtime work and/or working on a holiday. Must be able to accommodate changes in schedule and shifts to meet production requirements.

      •   Must be able to speak and understand basic instructions in English.

      •   Must be detail oriented with ability to accurately record data. Must have ability to solve routine inspection problems.

The Warehouse Operator will:

  • Operate a powered forklift to move, stack or load materials throughout production, warehouse, storage and shipping/receiving areas or buildings.  Perform daily forklift safety check and may perform minor servicing and maintenance of powered lifts.
  • Load and unload material from trucks to warehouse and stores in designated area.
  • Track, code, or mark materials and merchandise using hand-held electronic inventory devices. Insure accuracy of each scan to maintain inventory integrity in AS400 systems.
  • Pick and move materials and supplies from warehouse to production areas working from production schedules, bill of material or as requested by production.
  • Keep records of materials on hand and on order.  Update inventory system. Conduct cycle counts and monthly/term inventories, as instructed.
  • Receive, store and issue stock of plant materials and supplies, following well-defined procedures.
  • Check incoming material against accompanying documents to determine completeness and accuracy; keep stock neat and orderly, fill requisitions and maintain inventory records.
  • Report shortages and assist in putting away stock, maintaining storage locations, and updating inventory.
  • Prepare bills of lading or packing lists for finished goods shipments.
  • Verify outgoing orders to ensure shipments are complete and correct
  • Prepare completed pallets for movement, such as stretch wrapping and adding additional movement protection. Weigh and address parcels or crates of merchandise or materials, attach postage or creates and attaches bills of lading, and maintains records of goods shipped.

Qualified candidates will possess: 

  • 1 year of forklift experience is a must!
  • Manufacturing experience preferred. 
  • Basic math and mechanical skills required. 
  • Must be able to read and write numbers in decimals.
  • Must be able to speak and understand English
