About the position:
Operate CNC HAAS Milling or Lathe machine, CNC Lathe Okuma 10 & Okuma 10 SS and Okuma 12 with OSB 300 L Control (Okuma 10SS and 12 running with sub spindle live tooling). Our machines are 3-Axis, 4- Axis and 5-Axis, working with aluminum, plastic and stainless steel to make simple parts.
Job Duties include, but not limited to:
• Set up and tear down a work order on a CNC Machine.
• Responsible for in process inspection (utilizing calipers, micrometers)
• Responsible for making adjustments to offsets, and program as needed to maintain tolerances.
• Must be able to work off of blueprints
• Must be able to accurately use shop math in checking parts.
• Perform basic maintenance to the machines (clean and maintain, no mechanical repairs - weekly and monthly coolant maintenance)
• Maintain the machine within the scope of its ability.
• You will be expected to help around the shop with deburring, tapping, etc. as needed to keep parts moving
• Maintain all paperwork associated with producing the part and maintaining company records.

Job Requirements:
Required experience & qualifications:
• Machining Technology certification from a technical school, Machinist certification from a CNC manufacturer (such as OKUMA or HAAS) or equivalent.
• A minimum of two-years of hands-on Machining Operating experience.
• Working knowledge of shop math (Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry).
• Must know how to use calipers and micrometers

Job Description:
- Perform assembly operations to build light fixtures and accessories with quality in mind.
- Read and follow work order instructions and assembly schematics.
- Assembly requires riveting using a compressed air rivet gun, siliconing parts, twisting on parts, cleaning finished products and bagging.
- Occasionally spray paint,sand blast or polish parts.
- Soldering electronics
- Speed of assembly and quality of final assemblies is how your performance will be measured-avoid re-work and quality returns.
- Observe and follow safety guidelines specific to your work area.
- Maintaining work space and assigned tools clean and orderly-daily and weekly.
- Cross-train and work in all areas of production as work load requires it.

- Experienced using basic hand and power tools.
- Able to read and follow work orders, assembly instructions and basic technical drawings.
- Good communication and positive attitude.
- Soldering experience is a plus!
Physical Demands:
You will be working in a manufacturing facility, where we are machining, welding, soldering,powder coating and assembling parts from raw aluminum bars to finished product, in a production building with CNC Machines, Powder Coating spray and oven, Soldering, Polishing, TIG Welding, Chemical washes and spray paints.
Must be able to select, lift, carry, and stack product weighing between 30 and 50 pounds.
Must be able to sit and/or stand at a work station for 8 hours, with breaks while occasionally bending, stooping, and twisting and do repetitive work 2 to 4 hours at a time. This position requires manual dexterity and constant use of hands to assemble using manual and power tools.
