Key responsibilities:

Role Summary

We are looking for a versatile technician skilled in Borescope inspection of engine components and stick welding repairs on gray iron. This role supports both quality control and cast iron repair work on engine blocks, housings, and precision-machined parts.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform borescope inspections on engine blocks, internal passages, and machined components.

• Identify cracks, porosity, tool marks, and other defects; document findings with photos and reports.

• Perform SMAW stick welding repairs on gray iron using proper rods and heat-control techniques.

• Prep and repair cracks, worn areas, and casting defects on engines and industrial components.

• Collaborate with machining, engineering, and quality teams to verify and complete repairs.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Borescope Inspection Technician. In this role, you will perform internal visual inspections of engine blocks, cylinders, combustion chambers, and related components using borescope equipment to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform borescope inspections on engine blocks, internal passages, cylinder heads, and precision-machined components.

• Identify and document defects such as cracks, porosity, tool marks, foreign material, and structural anomalies.

• Interpret inspection findings and compare results to engineering drawings, tolerance requirements, and quality criteria.

• Prepare detailed inspection reports including photos, measurements, and pass/fail assessments.
