$30+ DOE and Shift - Paid weekly!

 

General Role Description

Visually inspects all units to be tested (pre-power inspection), performs production line acceptance testing using a combination of manual and automated test equipment. With strong troubleshooting techniques, the technician should be able to identify problems during tests and provide solutions.

 

Role Accountabilities 

  • Perform visual inspections on all product lines. 
  • Perform production line acceptance testing including insulation tests and function tests. 
  • Ability to work from instructions, drawings, and procedures. 
  • Troubleshoot and provide results in a timely fashion (strong troubleshooting skills). 
  • Record test results and complete test reports/paperwork per instructions/procedures.
  • Report issues found on failed units.
  • Perform some mechanical assembly.
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs. on a regular basis, and occasionally up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to handle large gage cables.
  • Good communication skills and ability to function in a team environment with limited supervision.
  • Excellent people skills to include collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team environment.
  • Outstanding work ethics and commitment to organizational success.
  • Able to follow and comply with Company Safety Standards.

Job Requirements:

  • 2 - 5 years’ experience in the electric industry.
  • Two-year technical degree in Applied Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Equivalent college hours in engineering or comparable industry experience.
  • Must be able to read and interpret schematics.
  • Experience in power electronics.
  • Experience in operating standard test equipment including DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Power Analyzers, Isolation Testers, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001

Maintenance Technician with Manufacturing Maintenance experience needed!

 

As a Maintenance Technician, you will provide maintenance support and repairs to production machinery, computer systems, and facility for a 24/7 manufacturing operation in Houston, TX.  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Production Support:  Respond in a timely manner to all maintenance requests on the production floor and provide training as needed.
  • Troubleshooting & Repairs:  Effectively diagnose mechanical, electrical, network and computer hardware/software issues in assigned area.  Make timely and accurate repairs.
  • Preventative Maintenance:  Inspect machines, complete work orders and perform assigned preventative maintenance activities.
  • Administrative & Housekeeping:  Perform inventory control of parts and equipment and record using the proper computer application.  Keep work area and equipment clean. Provide training to new technicians.

Shift:  7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Monday-Friday (weekends as needed) 

Job Requirements:

EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Mechanical and/or Electronic courses (Preferred)
  • Background in: Commercial Press/Envelope facility/press/books/newspaper/mailing equipment (preferred but not required)

EXPERIENCE

  • 1-3 years of related mechanical and electrical experience (Required)
  • Electro-mechanical experience (Required)

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Ability to organize work, people, and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine reports.
  • Ability to retain knowledge of procedures and processes and understand complex instructions and multi-step procedures.

General Role Description

Responsible for providing supervision, instruction, job assignments, and assistance to designated line personnel. Also responsible for coordinating with personnel on safety procedures, quality issues and for finding ways to improve productivity.

Role Accountabilities

  • Receive work order components from Marshalling Dept.
  • Verify all correct parts were received.
  • Check parts issued to the assembly dept. for accuracy or defects.
  • Issue all work orders/schematics/specifications and work instructions.
  • Help any assembler with questions on work orders, tool use, etc.
  • Fill in for assembler that must leave the assembly line for a short period.
  • Make random inspections on the in-process product.
  • Constant monitoring of assemblers and work area.
  • Responsible for all assembly employees as direct reports & will also give periodic performance reviews.
  • Initiates appropriate disciplinary action in accordance with established rules & regulations.
  • Maintain assemblers work schedule & time.
  • Interview & assess new assembly line employees.

Job Requirements:

  • Wrap finished products and prepare for shipment
  • Unload enclosures
  • Keep shipping area clean and organized
  • Move enclosures to correct cells and areas utilizing overhead cranes
  • Perform basic material handling activities: unloading trucks, receiving parts, material movements, order fulfilment, cycle counts and inventory error investigations.
  • Analyze and recommend solutions to material control problems.
