We currently have a position in Haw River for a Hose builder in a manufacturing company!

Looking for someone who can train on 1st 6:00am-2:30pm report to 2nd shift 2:30pm-11:00pm

Perform operations as required to build hose to specifications outlined on the work order and engineering master. Procedures

? Obtain work order and specification showing construction of hose to be made.

? Review entire work order and specification to ensure proper building of hose.

? Assemble required materials.

? Apply to mandrel as outlined in specifications. Ensure all materials are applied in proper sequence as outlined on the work order. ? Apply identifying part numbers to finished hose as supplied with the work order.

? Cover finished hose with nylon wrap.

? If hose is corrugated attach rope.

? Move finished hose to staging area for curing.

? Other duties: o Keep work area clean. o Empty trash cans. o Assist in other department jobs when needed or instructed by the supervisor.

Shift and Pay: 1st shift M-F 6:25am-3pm $18hr

As a Machine Operator II, you will perform tasks involved in the operation of industrial sized mixing equipment to make a variety of granola and nut cluster products.  The position follows methods, best practices, and safe work habits to ensure we produce high quality products in an efficient manner.  This is how you’ll do it...

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining a safe working environment by following all safety programs and procedures
• Following our site-wide Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safety Quality Food (SQF) protocols as well as safety protocols specific to mixing to ensure cleanliness, no cross contamination and no foreign materials are introduced during the process
• Operating and adjusting machinery specifications and quality parameters.  This includes setting up, starting up, and proper shutdown of each piece of equipment.
• Reading and understanding batch sheets to follow recipes and accurately weigh raw material ingredients – Mixing Area
• Monitoring and correcting consistency and moisture; make adjustments accordingly – Mixing Area
• Meeting production efficiency standards for shift
• Completing production and quality logs both on paper using good documentation practices and in Redzone according to requirements
• Manually moving pallets of materials or finished goods with pallet jack 
• Monitoring product for quality issues throughout shift. Report product or equipment issues to the production process lead or quality assurance technician and follow proper procedures
• Perform janitorial tasks to keep the production area clutter-free, organized, and free of safety hazards

• Constantly stand and walk about work area for duration of shift
• Ability to lift and move 20-50 lbs. frequently
• Ability to push/pull product and materials using a manual / electric pallet jack
• Bending, standing, walking, stooping, squatting for duration of 8–12-hour shift
• Wearing of proper PPE including hearing protection, safety glasses and safety shoes for duration of shift
