We are seeking dependable and hardworking Forklift Operators to join our team in the Grand Rapids area. This is a physically demanding role, perfect for candidates who are motivated, reliable, and ready to work overnight shifts.
Requirements:

Must be comfortable with heavy lifting (up to 50–75 lbs regularly)

Ability to work long shifts and stay until the job is completed

Must have steel-toe shoes

Previous freight, warehouse, or labor experience is a plus

Reliable transportation and strong attendance are required
Job Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight manually.
- Move, stack, and organize products throughout the facility.
- Operate forklift and other equipment as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
- Complete tasks until all daily freight is processed.

Day shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm
Night shift: Monday - Thursday 2:00pm - 12:30am
Pay: $19/hr. - $22/hr. depending on experience
Responsible for sorting machines during the production process. Operates sorting machines to their capabilities, guaranteeing the best performance and efficiency. Sorts items as needed. Assists in cleanup
Main tasks
•Set-up of sorting machines based on blue prints and part specifications.
•Compile performance reports, including SPC, charts and graphs.
•Use Hi-Lo to load and unload sorting machines.
•Ensure that each machine is calibrated correctly at the beginning of each shift so that it provides optimum output.
•Save tooling that is no longer necessary in its location in good conditions for futures orders.
•Label picked items with correct information according to set instructions and standards. Identify material (select and defective)
•Monitor processes to ensure that they are run properly and ensure that basic quality control and quality assurance tests are performed. Call quality department if is needed.
•Inspect finished products to ensure that they conform to quality standards and isolate any non-conformed or damaged items
•Keep the work area and the tools clean and tidy
•Clean production area.
•Sweep, mop, and remove screws.
•Load and unload screws from machines, carts, and dollies.
•Remove defective screws.
•Communicate with your colleague in a different shift.
•Drive, operate and maintain proper functioning of property vehicles
•Communicate problems with machinery and production to the supervisor and collaborate to solve them.
•Perform preventative and regular maintenance on machinery to ensure that their operational life is extended.
•Take instructions from supervisors.
Job Requirements:
Education
•High School graduate or equivalent
•Skilled at reading and comprehending blue prints.
•Proficiency in using dimensional charts.
•Knowledge in IATF 16949 / ISO 9001.
