About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Support professional to join our IT team. In this role, you will ensure that computer systems and related equipment function effectively so end users can carry out their daily tasks. This position includes responding to help desk requests, troubleshooting issues, documenting work, and providing in-person support.

Responsibilities

• Receive, prioritize, and respond to help desk requests via phone, email, and ticketing system.

• Build rapport with end users and gather detailed information to support problem-solving.

• Document all support interactions, resolutions, inventory status, and system configurations.

• Perform hardware repairs, upgrades, and builds for computers, printers, and peripherals.

• Configure desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.

• Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot software and operating systems.

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment.

• Test and verify successful issue resolution with follow-up when needed.

• Analyze recurring issues to recommend improvements.

• Create and update internal and end-user documentation.

• Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

• Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.

• Certifications (MCSE, CCNA, etc.) are a plus, but not required.

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware and Windows desktop/server environments.

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

• Effective documentation and organizational skills.

• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently.
