Identify materials and processes from job orders or written instructions.

Perform cleaning, plating, drying, baking, chromate treating, and lubricating of products.

Determine process time and sequence; set up applicable equipment accordingly.

Maintain and adjust chemical baths (plating, lubrication, cleaning) to proper solution mixes; prepare new solutions as required.

Operate auxiliary equipment such as forklift, overhead crane, parts washer, tumble barrel, salt cleaner, and centrifugal dryer.

Keep accurate production records including baking time, solution analysis, and work logs.

Perform daily equipment and work area maintenance; assist with minor repairs as needed.

Inspect and verify plating requirements using electronic gages; calibrate gages for accuracy.

Participate actively in team problem-solving, quality improvements, and process efficiency initiatives.

Comply with environmental, health, and safety requirements, including proper handling of department waste streams.

Previous plating, chemical processing, or manufacturing experience preferred (training available).

Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions and safety procedures.

Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.

Ability to operate industrial equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes (certification a plus).

Basic record-keeping and communication skills.

Team-oriented with a strong focus on safety and quality.

Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and assist other team members when needed.

Previous manufacturing or industrial experience is preferred but not required (training provided).

Ability to follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.

Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new processes.

Ability to lift, move, and transport parts as needed.
