- Pipe Welding: 2+ years TIG
- Required to obtain weld certification to AWS/ANSI standards.
- The tests for pipe are an open root 3G MIG and fluxcore fill in cap test AND a 6G TIG root flux fill in cap on 2-inch schedule 160.
- The 3G test will need to pass visually before moving onto the 6G test.
- Test Takes 4 hours to complete
