We are now hiring Seasonal QA Plant Monitors to support quality assurance operations in a fast paced plant environment. This role is ideal for detail oriented individuals who are comfortable working hands on in an industrial and lab setting and who take pride in maintaining quality standards.

Schedule

• Sunday through Thursday

• 5:00 PM to 5:30 AM

• Flexibility to cover first shift as needed, Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Pay:

$20.00 - $21.00 (Depending on shift)

Job Overview

The Quality Assurance Plant Monitor supports the Quality Control team by conducting plant monitoring and testing on cottonseed in both raw and processed forms. This role focuses on performing routine quality checks, data entry, and reporting deviations while following standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist Quality Control with plant monitoring testing for quality standards

• Perform truck sampling and sample de linting

• Conduct quality checks including acid percentage, dryer and buffer temperatures, bushel weights, pH, cleanout percentages, seed count, tare analysis, seed appearance, and bag analysis

• Inspect packaged finished products to ensure quality standards are met

• Assist with variety cleanouts

• Enter data into plant monitoring spreadsheets

• Report deviations in quality parameters

• Calibrate scales and record downtime coding

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Follow all safe work practices

• Work closely with other team members on a daily basis

Work Environment

• Industrial warehouse, plant, and lab environments

• Majority of work requires standing and walking for extended periods

• Regular interaction with industrial equipment including delinter, dryers, buffers, cleaners, gravity tables, seed tanks, shakers, conveyors, baggers, scales, palletizers, wrappers, forklifts, trucks, and loading ramps

• Use of lab equipment such as temperature probes, pH meters, beakers, scales, bushel weight apparatus, and seed counters
