Job Type

Full-time / Seasonal - Through March 2026

Pay Rate

• $20/hour for 1st shift
• $21/hour for 2nd shift
  (Resume, onsite interview, and steel-toe shoes required)

Schedule

• 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 5:00 PM – 5:30 AM
  Flexibility to cover second shift as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Quality Control team with plant monitoring and testing of cottonseed for quality standards in raw and processed forms.
• Perform quality checks including:
  • Truck Sampling and Sample De-linting
  • Acid Percentage, Dryer and Buffer Temperatures
  • Bushel Weights, pH, Cleanout Percentages
  • Seed Count, Tare Analysis, Seed Appearance
  • Bag Analysis and Scale Calibration
  • Down Time Coding
• Inspect packaged finished products to ensure standards are met.
• Assist with variety cleanouts.
• Enter data accurately into Plant Monitoring Spreadsheet.
• Report any deviations from quality parameters.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI) for all tasks.

• Individuals will work primarily in an industrial/warehouse and or lab environment. 
• PPE (safety glasses, coveralls, gloves, safety boots, and hardhat) is required and provided.

Job Requirements:

• Obtains copy of production schedule or shipping orders/reports, and transports material or equipment to and from designated areas within the sit.
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks or aircraft.
• Moving goods packed on pallets, crates and totes around the storage facility
• Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions
• Checking loads for accuracy and secure transport
• Stacking empty pallets and miscellaneous materials as assigned
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the trucks battery and lubricating equipment
• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines
• Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards
• Utilization of computer for communication and Computer Based Training as assigned.

• Plant cleaning and maintenance - includes maintaining a clean work area as well as maintaining overall plant cleanliness. 
• Light maintenance such as PVC piping installation and hose replacement. Previous pump and PVC experience preferred.
