We are looking for skilled candidates with excellent attention to detail for the position of Standup forklift driver. Standup forklift operators are responsible for optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency, and managing inventory by utilizing RF scanning equipment, among other duties.

 

Shift:

The 1st shift runs from 7am to 3:30pm. The 2nd shift is from 3pm to 11:30pm. Weekend availability is required. There will be a day off, but it will be during the week, on a weekday.

Pay:

The starting pay will be $11.50 for the 1st shift. The starting pay for the 2nd shift will be $12.25. Increase possibilities upon completion of the probationary period, after 61 days. Increase potential up to $16.00ph

Standup Forklift Operator Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently operate the Standup forklift exceeding 40 feet in lifting capacity.
  • Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items.
  • Transporting materials to different locations within the facility.
  • Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Securing loads to the machine before transportation.
  • Managing inventory by utilizing RF scanning equipment.
  • Picking and wrapping orders for shipment.
  • Identifying workplace safety hazards.
  • Adhering to safety management standards.
  • Adhering to production schedules.
  • Check and count freight for accuracy and/or damage.
  • Clear work area of loose wood and plastic, sweep area as needed.
