ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

· Operate and maintain high-speed production lines to ensure efficient manufacturing processes.

· Filling different types of packaging containers from pint size to 55-gallon drums.

· Consistently achieve or exceed established production standards.

· Perform equipment adjustments to maintain optimal operation and product quality.

· Preparing processing equipment by making setup adjustments and assisting with changeovers.

· Accurately document production processes, including completing logs, calculating statistics, and tracking the receipt, flow, and return of materials.

· Preparing trainees for production responsibilities by demonstrating teamwork, leadership and following standard operating procedures.

· Completing production, productivity, inspection, downtime and safety reports in a timely manner.

· Maintaining quality standards by conducting first-piece and line inspections.

Job Requirements:

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years of production experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and standards, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective production of goods.
  • Ability to read gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure proper machine operation.
  • Excellent diagnostic, troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of, MSDS, lock-out/tag-out, and OSHA requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with production staff.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and set priorities to meet deadlines on schedule.
  • Ability to influence others and work within cross-functional teams to make responsible decisions.
  • Possess a high tolerance of ambiguity and flexibility with respect to job functions and working hours in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO CANIDATES WITH THE FOLLOWING

  • 5+ years of production operations experience, particularly in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Experience as a production lead/supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in a high-speed line manufacturing or processing industry.
  • Experience in the automotive industry.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds multiple times per hour throughout the shift.
  • Capable of pushing, pulling, and maneuvering heavy loads as required for up to 10 hours a day.
  • Frequent ascending and descending of stairs multiple times per hour.
  • Ability to sustain prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and reaching as part of daily operations.

ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Regular exposure to chemical fumes, vapors, and airborne particles associated with chemical manufacturing processes.
  • Work performed in a non-climate-controlled environment, subject to varying temperatures and humidity levels.
  • Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, goggles, safety glasses, foot protection, chemical-resistant clothing, and, when required, a respirator depending on the chemical exposure.
  • Frequent handling of chemicals and materials, with strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Potential exposure to loud noises, requiring the use of hearing protection in designated areas.
  • Potential exposure to flashing lights, which may be present due to machinery or safety signaling, requiring workers to be aware of and manage the associated visual stimuli.

POSITION SUMMARY

Working under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing quality car care products by processing, mixing and blending in an industrial environment. 

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

· Verifies correct materials required for blending on batch requirements.

· Locate raw materials and documents transactions.

· lends raw materials and sends to processing.

· Inspecting equipment and its parts to assure conformance to specifications.

· Efficiently operate, maintains, change over and monitors process equipment.

· Inspect and make blending adjustment to product and equipment as needed.

· Keep proper documentation of weights, contents, batching, mixing, production, quality and downtime.

· Troubleshoot and advise production supervisor of any and all problems.

· Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment at the employee’s assigned workstation(s)

· Observes all safety rules and procedures while performing duties, including maintaining PPE.     

· Achieving or surpassing established operational standards.

· Other tasks, duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Production Supervisors and Managers.

Preference will be given to candidates with the following:

  • 3+ years of production operations experience, particularly in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in the automotive industry.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to safely lift, push, and pull materials up to 50 pounds on a regular basis throughout the shift; heavier items may require team lift or mechanical assistance.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods (up to 10–12 hours per shift).
  • Ability to operate and work around a variety of blending and processing machinery.
  • Ability to work in an industrial environment with regular exposure to chemicals, including use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, chemical-resistant footwear, goggles, and face shields.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and monitor multiple processes simultaneously.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Work is performed in an industrial manufacturing setting with exposure to chemicals, moving machinery, and varying temperatures.
  • Position may involve exposure to chemical splashes, fumes, vapors, and airborne particulates.
  • Work may involve handling or working in proximity to corrosive and other hazardous chemicals in a controlled environment.
  • Exposure to noise, vibrations, and other conditions typical of a production environment.
  • Employees are required to follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
