Job Summary:
As a Quality Inspector, responsible for inspecting raw materials, in-process parts, and finished goods to ensure compliance with IATF 16949, customer-specific requirements (CSR), and engineering specifications. Requires proficiency in measurement tools (calipers, CMM), data recording, and adaptability to multi-shift operations to uphold a zero-defect quality culture.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Incoming Inspection (IQC) - Conduct sampling checks on raw materials (metal/plastic parts) using tools (hardness testers, optical comparators).
2. In-Process Inspection (IPQC) - Monitor critical parameters (welding current, molding temperature) and document defects (burrs, color shifts).
3. Final Inspection (FQC/OQC) - Perform AQL sampling, validate functionality (sealing, electrical tests), and prepare COC/FAI reports.
4. Data & Reporting - Enter inspection data (Cpk, defect types) into MES/QMS and support 8D root cause analysis.
5. Equipment & Compliance - Maintain calibration of measuring devices (CMM) and comply with OSHA safety protocols. 6. Continuous Improvement - Propose error-proofing solutions and participate in internal audits (LPA, IATF 16949).
Shift: 8:30am to 5pm Monday thru Friday
Pay: $18 dollars per hour

Job Requirements:
HS Diploma or Equivalent: technical certification in quality preferred. 1+ years in manufacturing quality; automotive GD&T knowledge required.
Skills: Proficient in calipers, micrometers, and MS Office. Detail-oriented
