As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to load, unload, move, and store materials. This role supports Just-In-Time (JIT) production by ensuring timely material handling while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts to transport materials and stack pallets accurately
  • Load and unload shipments while minimizing product damage
  • Follow FIFO (First-In, First-Out) procedures to maintain proper inventory rotation
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace following 5S standards
  • Assist with inventory counts to ensure high accuracy
  • Comply with all OSHA safety regulations and company policies
  • Accurately document daily activities, including load counts and material movement


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift and move materials as needed
  • Comfortable working in varying temperatures and warehouse conditions

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights if required
  • Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE

Production Operator Job Responsibilities:

Assemble cockpit components (bracket mounting, wiring harness connection) using pneumatic tools (torque guns) and manual tools.

Follow SOPs and torque specifications for precision assembly.

Conduct self-inspection and functional tests (screen activation, button response) per IATF 16949 requirements.

Document defects and support rework/scrap processes.

Wear PPE (safety glasses, gloves) and comply with LOTO procedures.

Report hazards during daily safety briefings.

Perform tool checks and basic maintenance; maintain 5S standards at workstations.

Work in sync with production line cycle time (Takt Time) to minimize downtime.

Shift Hours: 8:30 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday

Pay: $18 dollars an hour
