Position Summary:

Responsible for issuance, review and maintenance of all batch records.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Receive, understand and follow all written and oral instructions
• Communicate all concerns and other work related issues to Supervisor/Manager.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures including safety and attendance requirements.
• Complete all paperwork and maintain all files associated with the position.
• Participate in performance improvement measures and tasks. Recommends improvements.
• Participate in training and is accountable for learning the material and information.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
• Issues batch records based on requests from Planning.
• Must assign a sequential lot number and record in the Finished Product log.
• Fills out component requirements for all batch records.
• Reviews all finished batch records for completeness and accuracy.
• Responsible for ensuring that any corrections or omissions are taken care of in a timely manner.
• After release by the QA Supervisor/Manager, ensures that the Shipping Department is notified that the product is released for Distribution.
• Issue release stickers to QC for application to approved product.
• Keep all files in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Any additional projects assigned by Supervisor/Manager

Formulate and mix of batches according to procedures on the batch sheet following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Obtain in process samples from each batch prior to release. Submit samples to the Quality Control Laboratory for testing and bulk approval. Locate, accurately weigh, properly document and transfer released raw materials and components, to and from the warehouse and production areas. 

Essential Functions:

• Receive, understand and follow all written and oral instruction.                                               
• Clean and sanitize tanks.
• Clean and transfer pumps, valves, hoses and any other accessories used in the transfer of raw materials or bulk product.
• Receive and handle of United States Pharmacopeia (USP) and non-USP products.
• Housekeeping of the outside and around tanks (Entire batching Area).
• Sanitization of water holding tank, loops and distribution systems.
• Label tanks, totes, samples, etc.
• Adhere to departments SOPs and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Communicate all concerns and other work related issues to manager in a timely manner.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures including safety, documentation and attendance requirements.   
• Complete all paperwork and maintain all files associated with the position
