Assistant Foreman – Pool Chemical Operations

Position Summary
The Assistant Foreman supports daily operations at a pool chemical production and distribution facility. This role assists the Foreman with supervising employees, coordinating workflow, and ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met. The Assistant Foreman helps oversee the handling, storage, and movement of bleach and acid stations while promoting a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising and directing daily work activities
• Support scheduling, task assignments, and workflow coordination
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and labeling of pool chemicals
• Enforce safety procedures, PPE usage, and company policies
• Monitor work quality and productivity standards
• Assist with training new employees on procedures and safety practices
• Communicate operational or safety concerns to the Foreman
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and compliant facility
• Lead operations in the Foreman’s absence when required

Work Environment
This role involves working around pool chemicals and industrial equipment. Comfort with chemical odors, PPE, and physically demanding conditions is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in chemical handling required.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork
• Ability to operate sit-down forklift is preferred
