Shipping and Receiving Manager – AS9100 Manufacturing

- Schedule: Full-time, 9am – 5:30pm, M – F
- Pay: $23.00 per hour, temp to hire

Employbridge is seeking an experienced Shipping and Receiving Manager to oversee all inbound and outbound material flow within an AS9100-certified manufacturing environment. This role ensures accurate receiving, compliant documentation, proper packaging, and on-time shipment of raw materials, WIP, finished goods, tooling, and flight-critical hardware.
This position is customer-facing and requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to represent the company effectively when coordinating shipments, resolves issues, and supporting customer delivery requirements.

What You'll Do:
- Receive raw materials, WIP, finished goods, tooling, and outsourced services
- Verify packing slips, certs, quantities, and part numbers
- Perform/coordinate receiving inspection per AS9100
- Tag materials for full traceability and segregate nonconforming items
- Prepare and package shipments, including flight-critical hardware
- Generate packing lists and shipping documents (ERP + carrier platforms)
- Communicate with customers on shipment status, documentation, and scheduling
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments
- Maintain certification packets and shipping records
- Support inventory accuracy, ERP transactions, and cycle counts
- Operate forklifts and maintain a clean, organized 5S shipping area
What We're Looking For:
- Shipping/receiving or logistics experience (manufacturing or aerospace preferred)
- Knowledge of AS9100 requirements
- ERP and shipping software experience
- Strong forklift/material handling skills
- High attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Professional customer service and communication skills
Nice to Have:
- Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, or related field
- Experience with traceability and controlled materials
- Packaging experience with high-value or flight-critical components
- Knowledge of export regulations
