Position OverviewThe Warehouse Operator supports daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy in transposing numbers and letters, clear penmanship, and the ability to work effectively within a team. New hires complete foundational training before operating any powered equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesMaterial Handling & Order FulfillmentReceive, sort, and store incoming materials according to company procedures.Pick and pack customer orders accurately using pick lists, labels, and RF scanners.Prepare shipments, stage pallets, and assist with loading and unloading trucks.Maintain proper rotation of inventory and report discrepancies immediately.Documentation & AccuracyAccurately transpose numbers and letters when reading, writing or entering product codes.Complete logs, checklists, and inventory forms with clear, legible penmanship.Verify product counts, lot numbers, and labels to ensure order accuracy.Follow all written instructions, diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).Teamwork & CommunicationCollaborate with coworkers, leads, and supervisors to meet daily goals.Communicate clearly about inventory issues, delays, or safety concerns.Transposing numbers and letters accuratelyOrder picking, labeling, and scanningSafe manual material-handling practicesDemonstrating consistent accuracy and attention to detail
