Job Opening: General Labor/Assembler/Forklift

The Materials Handler / Hilo Driver is responsible for moving product efficiently within the plant to support production operations. This is a fast-paced, time-sensitive role that requires strong attention to detail, the ability to stay on task, and comfort using technology. The position involves operating a Hilo (forklift), delivering parts to production lines, and managing carts and racks throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Pull racks with product and transport them to designated destinations within the plant
• Deliver parts to production lines in a timely and accurate manner
• Remove full or empty carts from production lines and return empty carts for refill
• Operate a Hilo (forklift) safely and efficiently
• Use RFID scanner guns and tablets for tracking and inventory movement
• Walk extensively throughout the facility while pushing carts as needed
• Rotate into Water Spider or other non-Hilo support roles based on business needs
• Maintain focus and productivity in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Follow all safety procedures and plant policies

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License required
• Ability to operate a Hilo (forklift); prior experience preferred
• Comfortable using tablets, scanner guns, and basic technology
• Ability to stay organized, manage time effectively, and work independently
• Able to walk for extended periods and push carts repeatedly
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
