Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on metal components and assemblies

• Follow standard work instructions and safety procedures

• Set up welding machines and related equipment

• Measure, cut, and assemble materials per specifications

• Grind, smooth, and finish welds to quality standards

• Troubleshoot and resolve welding or fabrication issues

• Meet production goals and quality requirements

• Perform product inspections and testing

• Maintain accurate production and inventory documentation

• Work effectively as part of a team

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of MIG welding experience preferred

• Must pass federal background check and hair follicle drug test

• Air Arc cutting experience preferred

• Prior mining industry welding experience a plus

• Lead experience (team lead of 5 or more) helpful but not required

• Able to read and follow blueprints and technical instructions

• Strong attention to detail and a safety focused work ethic
