Production Specialist – Coon Rapids, MN

Pay: $20–$24/hr DOE
Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday–Friday
Location: Coon Rapids, MN

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on manufacturing environment and is eager to grow into a technical career. As a Production Specialist, you’ll support daily production operations while participating in a structured training program designed to prepare you for advancement into a technician role.

Key Responsibilities

Production Support

• Prepare materials for production, including basic assembly, quality checks, part cleaning, and maintenance.
• Assist with inventory tasks such as pulling, restocking, and labeling components.
• Support shop operations through organization, documentation, and packaging.

Technical Development

• Work alongside senior technicians to learn advanced high-purity manufacturing processes.
• Participate in ongoing training in tool usage, blueprint reading, troubleshooting, high-purity testing, and quality control.
• Take on additional responsibilities as your skills develop.

Administrative Duties

• Accurately document job information using digital systems and paper forms.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work well in a team.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of tools, parts, and technical drawings/blueprints.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable with both digital and manual record-keeping.
• Demonstrated interest in technical learning and career growth within manufacturing.
