Job Opening: Light Equipment Operator

Light Equipment Operator  – Belleville, MI

Full-Time | Shifts: 6:00 AM–5:00 PM or 5:00 PM–4:00 AM

Work for a leader in print, packaging, and supply chain solutions, is seeking a Light Equipment Operator 1 to support production operations at our Belleville, MI facility.

About the Role

You’ll operate and set up light manufacturing equipment, ensure production and quality goals are met, troubleshoot minor machine issues, and support material handling needs. This role also includes training team members and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Load/unload materials and perform basic machine setup
• Monitor machine performance and enter data into Excel
• Troubleshoot jams and minor issues
• Perform quality checks and resolve product or productivity issues
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards
• Train and support new team members

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
• 1–3 years of related experience (Preferred)
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 15 lbs. frequently and push/pull up to 40 lbs.
• Experience with pallet jacks and manufacturing equipment a plus

Work Environment

Exposure to moving mechanical parts, dust, and industrial equipment. Hearing protection required in high-noise areas. Overtime may be required.
