Quality Control Technician

Location: Ontario, CA Industry: Nutritional Bars & Functional Powder Manufacturing Type: Contract-to-Hire Pay: Competitive hourly rate + overtime opportunities Schedule:

• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 3:30 AM
• 12-hour shifts with rotating weekly schedule (includes weekends)
• Example: Work Mon, Off Tue/Wed, Work Thu/Fri → Next week: Work Tue/Wed, Off Thu/Fri

Job Summary

A leading formulator and manufacturer of nutritional bar and functional powder products is seeking dedicated Quality Control Technicians to join their growing team. This is a long-term opportunity with room for advancement and consistent overtime.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections according to established quality standards and specifications
• Use basic measuring tools (scale, ruler, micrometer, thermometer) to perform tests
• Calculate averages and data ranges using basic math skills
• Document inspection results clearly and report discrepancies to supervisors
• Follow and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Prepare samples for sensory or analytical testing (weighing, mixing, labeling)
• Perform routine lab tests (water activity, pH, viscosity, etc.)
