Position Details
Role: Mechanical/Electrical Assembler
Location: SE Tucson, AZ
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Contract Length: 11 months with potential for permanent hire
Key Responsibilities
- Use torque wrenches, hand drills, die grinders, and various hand tools
- Work with plumbing components, valves, piping, and related parts
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, BOMs, component specifications, and other technical documentation
- Assemble and test electrical panel sub-assemblies
- Apply basic principles of electronics to support assembly and testing
- Load PLC and touch-screen control software
- Perform system testing, including ring-out, I/O logic, and functional checks
- Troubleshoot electrical panel issues and resolve malfunctions
- Use measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, and compound squares
- Operate power tools including jig saws, band saws, belt sanders, drills, chop saws, and grinders
- Demonstrate good manual dexterity; sheet metal experience is a plus
