Job Summary: The Weaver will be responsible for following all safety operational procedures while efficiently repairing minor weave stops on weave machines producing fabric. It will be essential that the Weaver supports and integrates Milliken core values of Flexibility, Improvement, Reliability, Safety and Teamwork into the daily performance of assigned responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect products to ensure that specifications are met and to determine if machines need adjustment.
• Set up and operate textile machines that perform weaving operations.
• Observe woven cloth to detect weaving defects.
• Repairing minor material stops on weave machines.
• Examine looms to determine causes of loom stoppage, such as warp filling, harness breaks, or mechanical defects.
• Remove defects in cloth by cutting and pulling out filling.
• Other tasks as assigned.
