Shipping & Receiving Racker Associate

Position Overview We are seeking a second shift detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for verifying, preparing, and processing incoming and outgoing shipments while ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Compare identifying information and count, weigh, or measure items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify accuracy against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Review packing slips to ensure all quality requirements are met prior to shipment.
• Assemble wooden or cardboard containers or select appropriate preassembled containers.
• Package units according to customer specifications or standard company practices.
• Determine the appropriate method of shipment.
• Apply identifying information and shipping instructions to containers.
• Record weights, calculate shipping charges, and affix postage or shipping labels.
