Select Staffing has a great opportunity for a electronics solderer within a electronics manufacture in Van Nuys, CA.

Pay: $21.00 – $25.00

Hours: 7AM – 3:30PM

Monday to Friday

POSITION OVERVIEW

Performs all necessary duties associated with soldering / assembling of products.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Assemble SMT / SMD components different sizes according to assembly instructions and/or written/verbal instruction.
• Notify supervisor when a form or fit problem occurs during assembly.
• Perform soldering of electronic components to IPC610 class II standards.
• Perform rework to Printed Circuit Board Assemblies per documented instructions
• Comply with company ESD requirements.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
• Metal Shielding Product

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• General knowledge of manufacturing and its’ procedures. 
• Soldering capabilities to IPC610 Class II standards. 
• Good judgment and ingenuity.
• Good time management, communication, and decision making skills.  
• Excellent team work skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of High School graduate or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 year experience in an electronic manufacturing environment with knowledge of the manufacturing process.
