Job Opening: MIG Welder Fabricator
Description
Shift: M-Th 6a-430p, OT on Fri 6a-12p/2p
Essential Job Functions:
-Construct steel framework in conformance with specifications for client projects including small detailed parts as well as large-scale structural pieces
-Utilize various equipment and tools in order to accurately position, align, fit and weld steel pieces together to form each unit and subunit
-Ensure accuracy in welding through measuring and marking each piece to account for stock thickness, as well as machine and welding shrinkage
-Coordinate with coworkers and supervisors to effectively organize, plan and prioritize and make decisions regarding client project work
-Utilize various mechanized vehicles or devices to move project pieces, large and small in size, throughout the fabrication workshop
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, employees will remain standing throughout the work day, they will need to be able to walk, climb stairs, and occasionally ladders & scaffolding, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. Employees will have regular daily lifting from 10 pounds up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
