Job Opening: Assembly technician/Clean Room AM
Description
The Assembly Technician is responsible for building high-quality medical device assemblies in a cleanroom environment while following all work instructions, quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices. This role supports daily production as well as special engineering projects and continuous improvement efforts.
Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm
Key Responsibilities
- Build assigned assemblies following detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with shift supervisors and engineering teams on special projects outside of normal production.
- Work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Follow all required cleaning and packaging processes.
- Maintain cleanroom integrity by completing daily cleanroom preparation tasks.
- Complete production documentation with strong discipline, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Use basic hand tools, assembly equipment, and, when required, work under a microscope.
- Use basic measurement and inspection tools to verify product quality.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work area.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in compliance with Gilero’s Quality Management System.
- Work closely with Engineers and the Production Supervisor to address and resolve quality events.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and support continuous improvement (CI) initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Work effectively with team members and contribute to a collaborative environment.
