Now Hiring – Material Handler (2nd Shift)

2:00pm–10:30pm, Monday–Friday

$20.24/hr + $1.25/hr shift differential

The Material Handler ensures all materials used in panel production are controlled, verified, and delivered on time to support scheduled production. This role also manages departmental hazardous-waste handling and disposition.

Job Duties:

Verify, withdraw, and deliver materials to the production line in accordance with the schedule. Maintain FIFO and track exposure units for temperature-sensitive materials. Ensure accurate inventory and perform cycle counts on high-use items. Receive, store, and palletize materials/products. Handle hazardous-waste disposal. Operate a forklift (training provided) and potentially serve as a forklift trainer. Participate in continuous improvement efforts. Cross-train or transfer departments as needed. Flexibility is essential. Overtime, including weekends, may be required.

Qualifications:

Strong work ethic; able to work independently or in a team. Preferably 2+ years of steady, relevant work history (manufacturing a plus). Able to safely operate a forklift and lift 50+ lbs frequently. Inventory control experience preferred. Must follow procedures, adapt to change quickly, and learn Safran quality requirements. Requires basic math skills, good reading comprehension, English proficiency (read/write/speak), legible handwriting, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
