Millwright/Installer – 7-Week Project Assignment
Location: Eau Claire, WI
Pay Rate: $36.00 per hour
Assignment Duration: March 3, 2026 – April 25, 2026
Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract (7 Weeks)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Millwright/Installer to support a 7-week installation project involving parcel handling systems. This role will focus on mechanical assembly, equipment alignment, and installation of conveyors, chutes, platforms, and supporting structures within a fast-paced jobsite environment. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical background and experience working with material-handling or parcel-handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and align conveyors, chutes, platforms, and structural support components
- Set equipment to proper elevation, plumb, and square according to installation drawings
- Use rigging, lifting devices, and precision measurement tools to accurately position equipment
- Collaborate effectively with welders and other onsite trades throughout installation phases
- Maintain a consistent focus on safety practices, quality workmanship, and project deadlines
Qualifications
- Millwright or mechanical installation experience involving parcel or material-handling systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude with proven conveyor installation experience
- Ability to take direction and work efficiently under supervision
- Ability to read and interpret installation drawings and layouts (preferred but not required)
- Willingness to work extended hours when needed to support project requirements
