Orthotic & Prosthetic Technician
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Orthotic & Prosthetic Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for the fabrication, repair, and maintenance of orthotic and prosthetic devices in accordance with company quality and productivity standards. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 11:30am-8:00PM
Pay: $18/Hr
Location: Hickory Hills, IL
Essential Functions

Fabricate and repair orthotic and prosthetic devices according to prescribed specifications and company quality standards.

Perform inventory-related tasks, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining materials and supplies.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized laboratory/work environment.

Comply with all safety regulations and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements.
Additional Responsibilities

Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Knowledge and manual dexterity required to fabricate and repair prostheses (artificial limbs) and orthoses (orthopedic braces) according to detailed specifications.

Strong mechanical aptitude and hand-eye coordination to safely and effectively operate laboratory tools and equipment.

Effective organizational, time management, and planning skills.

Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively as a team member.

Ability to learn company policies, procedures, and job-specific skills to complete routine assignments.

Work Environment & Supervision

This position primarily involves routine assignments requiring limited independent judgment.

Work is performed under close supervision, with detailed instructions provided for assigned tasks.
