Job Opening: Lay-Up Press Operator

ProLogistix is seeking a Lay-Up Press Operator for a manufacturing partner specializing in high-quality composite panel production. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in precision, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:00 AM–2:30 PM Pay: $20.00/hr Location: Marysville, WA.

Job Responsibilities

• Pull materials from cold storage and allow them to acclimate per specifications
• Cut materials to correct size according to work orders
• Lay up cut materials into panel constructions per work order requirements
• Transfer panel constructions into the platen press set to the correct temperature
• Operate the press and perform the proper burp cycle for optimal volatile removal
• Remove cured panel constructions from the press after the specified time
• Record press processing information on work orders to maintain traceability
• Trim panels on CNC machines to work-order dimensions
• Palletize completed panels for shipment
• Maintain proper storage conditions for temperature-sensitive materials
• Work overtime as required, including weekends

Qualifications

• Strong desire to work and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• 2+ years of steady, relevant work experience preferred; manufacturing experience a plus
• Good basic math skills
• Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently
• Legible handwriting/printing
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
