Assembly position in Comstock Park Area!
Day Shift (Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm)
Pay: $19.00/Hr.
The Panel Builder is responsible for building custom electrical panels to be installed in industrial HVAC equipment. This includes mounting electrical devices (transformers, drives, etc.) to a backplate using hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches), running wire between the devices using hand tools (wire cutters and strippers) and labeling each wire during the build. A typical panel takes 8 hours to build. The layout of each panel is shown on a set of electrical prints. The process of panel building, as well as the specifics of reading an electrical print, will be taught to a new Panel Builder.
High school diploma or any combination equivalent to high school. No electrical experience required but is beneficial.
