Job Title: Material Handler
Key ResponsibilitiesParts Handling & Processing Handle parts throughout all stages: receiving, cleaning, prepping, assembly, inspection, packaging, and shipping preparation.Perform light assembly and finishing work,Clean and prep parts using approved chemicals, tools, and procedures.Inspect parts for defects, damage, or quality issues and report concerns promptly
Packaging & Shipping PreparationPrep, label, and package parts individually or in batches based on order requirements.Take clear, detailed photos of parts and part numbers for documentation and quality history.Fill out required shipping paperwork, forms, or logs to record what items are being sent out.
Prepare shipments by labeling, boxing, wrapping, and completing documentation accurately and on time.Material Movement & InventoryGeneral Production Support QualificationsExperience in material handling, parts handling, light assembly, or manufacturing preferred.Ability to perform light mechanical tasks and use basic hand tools (e.g., grinders, taps, drills).Strong attention to detail, especially in packaging, labeling, and documentation.Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and handle parts throughout the day.Basic computer or scanner skills for documentation and tracking (preferred).Dependable, organized, and able to work both independently and with a team.
