Job Opening: Wiring Technician

We are seeking reliable Wire Assemblers to support the production of electrical panels and assemblies. 

Location: Fairfield, OH

Shifts: 1st and 2nd

Pay: $21-22

This role is responsible for building, wiring, and assembling electrical components according to specifications, schematics, and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, route, and secure electrical wiring, cables, and harnesses according to blueprints, schematics, and work instructions

• Perform point-to-point wiring inside electrical panels, control cabinets, and enclosures

• Cut, strip, crimp, terminate, and label wires using hand tools and powered equipment

• Install electrical components such as terminal blocks, relays, breakers, switches, and connectors

• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, wiring schematics, and bills of material (BOMs)

• Perform continuity checks and basic electrical testing to verify proper connections

• Inspect completed assemblies to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications

• Follow established safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and ESD guidelines

• Maintain clean and organized workstations in accordance with 5S standards

• Accurately document work performed, including production counts and quality checks

• Collaborate with team members, leads, and quality personnel to meet production goals

• Identify and report defects, material shortages, or process issues to leadership

Requirments

• Previous experience in wire assembly, electrical assembly, or panel wiring preferred

• Ability to read electrical schematics and work instructions

• Comfortable using hand tools, wire strippers, crimpers, and measuring tools

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks

• Must have metatarsal boots prior to training
