Blending & Mixing Operator
Location: Ogden, UT
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, on a 2-2-3 rotation
Role Overview
Responsible for blending and mixing plastic powders according to precise formulas, ensuring accurate measurements and proper material flow to support production.
Key Responsibilities
- Blend and mix plastic powders accurately to match production specifications
- Weigh powders and materials using scales—must be able to read and interpret weight measurements correctly
- Track raw material flow and supply production staff
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
- Operate mixing/blending equipment following quality standards
- Operate a sit-down forklift for material handling
- Keep detailed production logs and reports
Requirements
- Prior experience in mixing/blending plastic powders
- Ability to read and interpret scales for accurate weighing
- Proficient English communication skills
- Sit-down forklift experience required
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and stand for long periods
