Job Summary for Pipe Welder and Pipefitter:
Pipe Welder- must be proficient in welding techniques using Mig Welding and Flux-core Welding.
Pipefitter- lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
Pay: $25-$33 DOE
Duties for Pipe Welder and Pipefitter:
- Proficient in assigned welding techniques as Mig Welder and Flux-core Welder
- Interpretation of mechanical drawings, including the ability to read weld symbols
- Knowledge of wire and filler materials applications for various steel alloys, aluminum, and exotic materials
- Working knowledge of fixturing and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.)
- Convention and precision measuring instruments
- Process inspection, certification, and documentation
- Welding equipment maintenance and inspection
- Finish grinding applications using manual and power tools
- Safety and housekeeping
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements for Pipe Welder and Pipefitter:
- Must pass weld test on Mig Welder & Flux-core welding
- Minimum 3+ year experience working within a manufacturing environment / facility
- Be prepared to stand for 8–10-12 hour shifts
- Resume required
Shift: 1st shift – 6am – 4:30pm (flexible to work 10/12 hours)
Shift: 2nd shift – 4:30 pm – 2:30 am (flexible to 10-hour shifts / Saturdays required)- Shift differential
