An essential Manufacturer in Chatsworth is looking for Machine Operators! Full time/Long term Opportunity!
Pay: $19.00/hr
1st shift openings! Hours: 5:00am – 1:30pm (open/flexible to work overtime 10-12 hours)
Must have steel toe shoes/boot!
Summary:
Responsible for all basic operation functions. Compliance with all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), SOP’s, and Safety Procedures. Your primary activities will include but are not limited to:
• Assists team in breaking down/setting up heavy machinery, operating various equipment, sanitization (major/minor clean)
• Performs manual aspects of the operation process, including but not limited to making boxes, loading machines, hand packing product, visual and physical checks of in process and finished materials as trained and instructed by supervisor, in compliance with all safety and GMP procedures.
• Learns and performs one or more aspect(s) of the automated operation process, including but not limited to running of machines, as trained and instructed by supervisor, in compliance with all safety and GMP procedures
• Flexibility and adaptable to learn and perform washroom procedures in compliance with all safety and GMP guidelines
• Responsible to ensure each product is prepared, filled, assembled, packed, and documented according to work instructions/SOP’s, batch records, and GMP guidelines
• Properly wear Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) as required per GMP guidelines
• Accurately enter data records in Redzone and interpret written information within the batch record

• Perform 5S activities and maintain organization of operating area.
You’ll need the following (minimum qualifications):
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs., climb step-up ladders, and perform constant motions of scooping, wiping, raising of arms, bending, and kneeling, if needed
• Ability to be exposed to nutraceutical raw materials and powders which may include allergen related items
• Ability to comprehend basic computer knowledge
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Must be flexible and work well with others; cross train between operations and functions and other departments as needed
• High School education (HS Diploma or GED) preferred
• Experience in food/pharmaceutical processing operations, FDA regulated industry, or combination of experience, education, and training that provides the level of knowledge, skills, and experience needed to perform the job successfully (preferred)
