Job Opening: Welder

We are seeking a skilled and dependable MIG Welder to join our production team. This role is responsible for welding metal components according to specifications while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on welding experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Location: West Chester OH

Shift: 1st 5a-1p

Pay: $20/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on steel, aluminum, or other metals based on job specifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work orders

• Set up welding equipment, adjust settings, and select appropriate materials

• Inspect finished welds to ensure structural integrity and quality standards

• Grind, finish, and repair welds as needed

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Follow all safety procedures, OSHA guidelines, and company policies

• Work collaboratively with fabricators, assemblers, and supervisors

• Meet production goals while maintaining quality expectations

Qualifications

• Previous MIG welding experience

• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols

• Strong understanding of welding safety practices

• Experience using grinders, measuring tools, and basic fabrication equipment

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Welding certifications (AWS or equivalent)

• Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication shop

• Familiarity with quality inspections and weld testing
