Industrial Product Repair and Coatings

This position supports the paint line department.

Duties include:

Sanding

Hanging parts

Masking parts

Part preparation

Inspection and packaging completed material

Basic knowledge preferred but not required: 

• Knowledge of paint coverings and production processes
• Knowledge of the methods to prepare surfaces for painting and the correct techniques based on the designated customer part.
• Knowledge of tools used with preparation and during quality control.
• Knowledge of common defects in finished coating, including running, cracking, peeling,
  blistering, and discoloration, and repair defects when identified.
• Capable of performing all functions in the paint line department, including but not limited
  to: sanding, hanging, masking, part preparation, inspection and packaging completed mat
