Job Opening: Electrical Assembler

Installation and wiring repair on electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment by performing the following duties.

Follows “as built” sketches showing location of wiring and equipment, or follows diagrams Blueprints. 

Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit; effectively operates/maintains hand conduit benders and pipe threaders. Pulls wiring through conduit without damaging or chafing wires.

Splices wires by stripping insulation from terminal leads, twisting or soldering wires together, and applying tape or terminal caps.

Connects wiring to basic electrical components such as lighting fixtures and heaters. Performs simple installation of apparatus such as switches, receptacles, and circuit-breaker panels.

Must be able to stand, bend, stoop for 8 hours.  Industrial environment with exposure to machining operations.  Use of PPE includes safety glasses and hearing protection as necessary.
