Position: MIG Welder

Location: Plymouth

Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time

Shift: 2nd, 3rd

Pay Range: (Hourly rate or range)

This role focuses on MIG welding for the production, repair, or fabrication of metal components. The ideal candidate is skilled with MIG welding equipment, can read blueprints, and works well in a fast-paced manufacturing or fabrication environment.

Perform MIG welding on steel, aluminum, or stainless components according to specifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work orders
• Set up welding machines and adjust settings for material type and thickness
• Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Operate hand tools, grinders, and fabrication equipment as needed
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a MIG welder (1–3 years preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong understanding of welding safety practices
• Ability to lift 50lbs and stand for extended periods
• Familiarity with measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, squares)
• High attention to detail and quality

• Welding certifications (AWS or equivalent)
• Fabrication or machining experience
