Maintenance Manager

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage maintenance staff, including scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management

Oversee preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs for all production equipment and facility systems

Ensure compliance with food safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies

Plan and coordinate maintenance and repair activities to minimize production downtime

Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and parts/inventory management systems

Develop and implement maintenance strategies that improve equipment reliability, uptime, and efficiency

Collaborate closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to support operational goals

Manage maintenance budgets and control costs while maintaining high performance standards
Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of management experience in maintenance or facility management

Food manufacturing experience required

Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems

Proven experience with preventive maintenance programs and reliability-focused maintenance practices

Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and maintenance documentation

Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field preferred
