About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment throughout the facility. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, manages time well, and can work independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
• Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners
• Restock supplies such as paper products and soap
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
• Maintain floors (buffing/stripping/waxing) as needed
• Report any maintenance or safety issues
• Follow all health and safety guidelines
• Secure facilities after cleaning (if working after hours)

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Able to work independently or as part of a team
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and company policies
