Join our Team – Hydraulics Maintenance Mechanic Needed in Valencia!
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Core Responsibilities
- Inspect and diagnose hydraulic components and systems for malfunctions, wear, or safety issues
- Performs preventive maintenance such as lubricating, testing, calibrating, and replacing worn parts to minimize downtime
- Repair or replace defective hydraulic parts and test equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation
- Assemble, install, or upgrade hydraulic systems according to manufacturer specifications and schematics
- Conduct pressure tests, up to 3000 p.s.i, for leak tests, and other system integrity checks
- Interpret technical manuals and hydraulic schematics for troubleshooting and installations
- Document maintenance, repairs, and modifications accurately for compliance and reference
- Adhere to safety standards and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure regulatory compliance
- Knowledge and ability to spec-out and fabricate hoses, using the correct type of fittings and hoses, with crimping machines and use of proper dies, and knowledge of various hose crimping techniques to determine the systems’ needs for Safety.
- Must be familiar with different types of oils, lubricants and filters for supply and return for each different system and pressures.
Typical Daily Tasks
- Inspect equipment and perform routine checks at the start of the shift
- Respond to breakdowns or malfunction, troubleshooting issues on-site
- Replace faulty hydraulic hoses, valves, pumps, motors, or cylinders as needed
- Test repaired systems to verify performance using gauges and diagnostic devices
- Keep work areas organized and maintain tools and diagnostic instruments
- Communicate findings, repair needs, or completed work with supervisors.
- Update service logs and maintenance records as required by company policy.
This Position Also Provides Support to the Maintenance Team
- Maintain machinery, P.M. & diagnosis and repairs to electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulics, cylinders, pumps, valves and systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical and pneumatic schematics and manuals, for the P.M. repair of machinery with the ability to install and connect these systems.
- Knowledge in diversity of machinery from punch presses, heated forming presses, glue dispensing, roll forming, compressors and more.
Work Environment: This job operates in a manufacturing factory environment. Personal Protective Equipment may be required while working in room temperatures above normal.

- Grip, grasp or twist using your hands and wrists regularly during your shift
- Use hands, fingers, and wrists to handle and feel product.
- Be on your feet walking on hard floor for long periods (possibly entire shift)
- Stand for long periods during the work shift
- Bend, stoop and twist regularly during the day
- Lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds
- Climb and work from a variety of ladders ranging from 4’ to 24 feet
- Reaching (extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction 0–30-pound loads
- Operate industrial machinery, such as forklifts, boom lifts and scissor lifts.
- Possibly work around high noise levels
- Be exposed to dust and chemical smells
- If required, must wear personal protective equipment, such as a hard hat, steel toed shoes, safety glasses, ear protection, gloves, and Respirator if required.
Required Education and Experience: High school diploma preferred and 3-5 years’ experience in related field.

Must be able to work independently and as a team, have a good work ethic with Safety First in mind, for self and others. Must be available for overtime on Saturdays and evenings as needed. Must have own hand tools and rollaway toolbox.
