Shifts: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and finish metal or hard surfaces
• Remove scale, grease, rust, and dirt using manual abrasion techniques
• Apply coatings and paints using brushes, spray guns, and rollers to meet MIL-STD requirements
• Perform EPA-approved lead paint removal
• Operate and maintain sandblast equipment for various anchor profiles
• Use hand sanding machines and complete heavy body repairs
• Operate frame machines and perform commercial/fleet painting
• Prepare sandblasting bays, chambers, portable units, and booths for blasting metal and nonmetal surfaces

• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred
• Knowledge of and adherence to safety procedures
• Ability to follow instructions and take direction from management
• Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to completing tasks on time
• Ability to determine correct nozzle openings for different surfaces
