Schedule – 3rd Shift:
Sunday-Thursday 11:00pm-7:00am
Level 2: $18.50-$21 Hourly (Depending on Experience)
Level 3: Back-up Lead: $21.50-$25.50 Hourly (Depending on Experience)
Level 4:Lead $26-$33 Hourly (Depending on Experience)
Level 2 CNC Mill Operator individual job functions include running a CNC Mill, checking parts and following instruction. Performing basic setups, adjusting offsets, and troubleshooting minor issues.
Responsibilities:
Candidate must be able to independently run and check parts and work within strict safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
All skills from Level 1, plus:
• Ability to read and interpret simple blueprints.
• Basic knowledge of tooling types and their functions.
• Proficiency with all required measuring equipment.
• Ability to assist with SPC duties as required
Level 3 CNC Mill Operator individual job functions include able to run and set up CNC Mills. Basic setups, offset adjustments, troubleshooting issues and fully competent with SPC duties. Filling in for CNC lead when needed.
Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate the machine on a trial run to verify parts conform to WI requirements.
• Adjusting and closing trackers within CSI.
• Ability to perform all SPC duties for CNC.
• Ability to perform basic machine setups and adjust offsets
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of CNC programming basics (G-code).
• Fully competent on CNC start and shutdown procedures.
• Filling in for CNC lead as required.
Level 4 CNC Mill Operator individual job functions include, expert in all aspects of CNC machining, including programming, setup, and troubleshooting. Daily leadership and mentoring role.
Responsibilities
Candidate must be able to independently set up CNC and check parts and work within strict safety, quality, and efficiency standards. Plan and prioritize daily work schedule for team members.
All skills from Level 1, 2, and 3, plus:
• Plan and prioritize daily work schedule for team members.
• Ability to perform complex machine setups.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
• Working knowledge of CAD/CAM software.
• Working knowledge of CNC programming and machine operation.
• Advanced knowledge of program editing (G-code).
• Knowledge of GD & T.
• Ability to write and edit programs.
• Knowledge of tooling and fixtures.
• Good communication with all shifts and the CNC supervisor.
• Attending required meetings in CNC Supervisors absence.
• Monitor cutter and tooling requirements for shift. Communicating requirements and concerns to Supervisor.
• Over sees and is responsible for shift team members.
• Monitor team attendance and work with CNC supervisor on any concerns.
• Assure that all safety procedures are being followed.
