Responsibilities

• Read engineering blueprints and take measurements to plan pipe layouts and welding steps.
• Select appropriate welding equipment and methods based on project requirements.
• Assemble and install metal pipes and fittings for carbon steel and stainless steel projects.
• Secure pipes using clamps, brackets, and hangers.
• Apply knowledge of metallurgy and geometry to choose tools and welding techniques.
• Clean, prepare, and install pipes with various fittings and weld joints following standard protocols.
• Thread pipes using threading machines and assemble fittings using threading methods.
• Set up components for welding according to specifications.
• Operate angle grinders to prepare parts for welding.
• Align components using calipers, rulers, and clamps.
• Weld components manually or semi-automatically in various positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead).
• Test and inspect welded surfaces for flaws.
• Maintain equipment in safe working condition.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.
• Manage multiple projects efficiently.
• Assist in developing manufacturing procedures and productivity reports.
